Dafilon is indicated for skin closure by subcuticular or interrupted sutures and for fixation of drainage tubes, catheters as well as for dental indications.
It is a non-absorbable synthetic monofilament suture made of polyamide polymers 6/6.6 (dyed blue or undyed), without coating. Sizes available USP 11/0 (0.1 metric) to USP 2 (5 metric).
