DURAMAX S dressings are indicated for high odour wounds with very heavy exudate, including diabetic foot syndrome, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, second-degree burns, and postoperative and traumatic wounds. The 6-layer design absorbs and traps viscous exudate - even under compression - and has a water vapour permeable top sheet.
The non-occlusive, breathable dressing promotes a moist wound environment and helps prevent maceration and irritation of the wound bed and surrounding skin by exudate.
Excellent absorption and retention of viscous exudate, even under standard compression at 40 mmHg.
Self-adherent silicone wound contact layer provides gentle adhesion while providing secondary fixation. DURAMAX S dressings can be repositioned, which can facilitate wound control and dressing changes.
DURAMAX S dressings are designed to be comfortable for patients to wear and the cross-linked silicone wound contact layer helps to prevent the dressing from sticking to the wound bed.
